Kathy S / Glen Ellyn, Illinois / 21 novembre 2013 “Above and Beyond the call of duty” We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Nina. We were looking for the right combination of character and reasonably priced accommodations for our week in Juan-les-Pins this past June and absolutely found that we were looking for at Hotel Villa Nina. It is a great place to stay if your main interest is exploring your surroundings. The owners, Stephan and Nina, were delightful and, echoing one of the other reviewers, gave superb advice about things to do, places to visit (and how to get there) and wonderful restaurants to try. I titled this review "above and beyond the call of duty" because while staying at Hotel Villa Nina, I was trying to finalize plans for my mother's 90th birthday party and when I asked if there might possibly be a copy shop nearby, Stephan most graciously helped me finish the invitations himself. This is just an example of how both Stephan and Nina were determined to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could. We often lingered over breakfast or in the lobby chatting with them and by the time we left, we really did feel that we had stayed with friends. I wish them both the best of luck and hope to see them again sometime soon!

Goce S / Skopje, Macédoine / 28 août 2013 “Excellent garden and hospitality” Near by the beach hotel, almost all facilities are there, continental breakfast, garden is marvellous. The managers are really kind, available facilities to take with you on the beach.
Easy communication with the owner, clean hotel, extraordinary value of the enterier.
Astuce pour la chambre: good value for money, not so expensive, clean and close to the beach place
To minutt å gå. Kommer ti å velge det igjen:) Gideon C / Londres, Royaume-Uni / 23 août 2013 “friendliest Hotel in town” As others have commented and we found during our stay, the owners Stephan and Nina are most friendly and helpful people you could wish to meet. A couple of hours after we checked in I bumped into Stephan in the reception area, although we had never met he knew our names and was immediately eager to help with any questions we had. Every time we returned to the hotel he was available but not imposing, ready to help.
The hotel itself has a lovely 'character' and is not an identi-kit hotel. The bonsai garden is a lovely place to eat breakfast in the morning and the lounge is full of lovely features. The only slight criticism we could make is the bathrooms are quite small. That aside a perfect place to stay in Juan-les-pins Steu90 / 19 août 2013 “Comodo alla spiaggia e al centro” Ottima ospitalità.. Pulizia OTTIMA.

Evergreen, Colorado / 28 juin 2013 “Delightful!”
We chose Villa Nina because of previous reviews. It was a great decision. To say that Stephan makes you feel at home is an understatement! The rooms may be small, especially our bathroom!, but we wouldn't have traded our experience for the world! Discovered that the sandy beach in Juan Les Pins is far superior to other beaches in the Nice area, and it is steps away from the hotel. Stephan’s restaurant recommendation, L'Horizon, was so incredible that we ate there all three nights of our stay! His suggestions of where to go and how to get there were perfect...and, he could not have been more accommodating every time we walked in the door! If you're more concerned with your experience than luxuries, this is the place for you. Villa Nina is absolutely charming in its decor, ambience, location....we would return in a heartbeat! Thanks, Stephan and Nina!
Astuce pour la chambre : Ask for a sea view...small balconies that look to the sea. Don't mind the train...you won't...
Françoise f / Aix-en-Provence, France / 24 juin 2013 “Quelle belle escale !!!” Crossfire3108 / Lincolnshire / 13 mai 2013 “Best customer service ever” We arrived at Villa Nina following a delayed flight thanks to Jet2, an arrival at Terminal 1 to find we had to go to Terminal 2 to get a the hire car, and a delay getting a hire car thanks to Enterprise who had given the car we reserved to someone else, so we were a bit fed up. Stephan swept all that away with his warm welcome, instantly knowing who we were and greeting us by name. We had already received a welcome email from him immediately on making our booking, which had impressed us, and a first for a hotel booking. We were booked in quickly and efficiently and then shown to our room - several important things were explained to us which made us feel at ease and certainly avoided us being confused at a later time. The room was a little small, and the bathroom was tiny, but everything we needed was provided, and everywhere was perfectly clean and had a nice homely feel about it. The beach is a couple of minutes away and the sand is soft and golden. There is a lovely promenade and bars and restaurants are close by, and although we found them to be expensive, we had good meals, excellent wine and good service in L’Horizon and Ti Toque, both recommended by Stephan. The boulangerie around the corner sells the most delicious croissants, still warm. The area is very built up and seems densely populated, and driving was a bit of a challenge, however it was worth the effort to drive around Cap D’Antibes, stopping at Plage de la Garoupe for lunch – we had a lovely walk there along the coast. The following day we drove to Monaco – what an experience – beautiful jaw dropping buildings – a Bentley on every corner - so many tunnels that you get totally disoriented - more by luck than judgement we found parking in a shopping centre car park and from there, walked to the main marina and saw the stands being erected for the next Grand Prix, then took a bus up to Monaco Ville to see the palace and the rather magnificent buildings up there. We saw most of Monaco again while driving around trying to get out, and bits of it, we saw twice. On our last day, we tried to get to the old part of Antibes but it was very difficult to find our way around, even though Stephan gave us a street map and marked the route, and there was no parking space to be found anywhere. We eventually gave up and headed inland where we came across amazing valleys and hills and eventually ended up at Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a fortified hilltop village dating from 14th century – we had a pleasant walk around there, admired the stunning views and bought a couple of prints from one of the many art shops. In summary, Juan Les Pins is a good base and we loved it, we loved Villa Nina, and we loved Stephan and Nina for making us so welcome, and doing everything they could to make our stay successful. We have never had such a warm and friendly service at any other hotel. Would we recommends Villa Nina – yes, we would.
Lara B /Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa / 29 avril 2013 “Professional, hospitable, charming!” Traveling for business to attend MIPTV, my colleague and I were extremely fortunate to find this economically-priced, charming "boutique" hotel. Owners, Nina and Stephan provide a personal and professional service that made it feel more like a "home from home" experience than a business trip. Stephan speaks fluent English and kindly arranged local restaurant bookings and taxi services on request. The hotel is close to the beach, the train station, bus route and shops; and provides the business and leisure traveler with a clean, comfortable, convenient and charming environment in which to work (either in the dining room or lounge with its classic art deco pieces) or relax (a beautiful garden sanctuary with an extensive array of spectacular bonsai trees). I look forward to returning!
Diana J / Londres, Royaume-Uni / 18 décembre 2012 “It's like coming home” This was our 4th stay at Villa Nina and the welcome we received from Nina and Stephan was just as if we were coming home. This really is a charming hotel unlike any other. The reception and lounge decor with its eclectic mix of beautiful unique items has been brought together by Nina and Stephan with such flair it immediately creates a sumptuous relaxing atmosphere from which to start your holiday. At every turn they are there to help make your stay enjoyable. I can't wait to return.
jeanpd / Ventura, CA / 5 novembre 2012 “Wonderful hospitality” A half-block from the beach this hotel is charming, warm and an excellent buy. We arrived tired, haggard from days of travel and airports. What a welcomed rest-bit. The owner was helpful, accommodating and eager to meet our needs and help us become comfortable. Stephen P / Northwich / 19 octobre 2012 “Hotel Villa Nina” Nina and Stephan made us very welcome. From the moment we arrived in a taxi late Saturday evening until Nina waved us of the following Saturday morning in a taxi we felt at home. Hotel Villa Nina is in a magnificent location on the outskirts of Juan les Pins. An easy stroll to the beach and the town centre. As you see from other reviews the hotel is quirky but good. The room we stayed in was small and functional. The area was quiet when you wanted it to be quiet (at night).
The continental breakfast amongst the bonsai trees outside set the perfect tone for the start of the day.

Farook S / Denver, Colorado, United / 18 octobre 2012 “Exquisite home away from home” I travel the world to film 5 different TV series for the likes of National Geographic, BBC to PBS and have the pleasure of staying in some of finest hotels across the world....but you always miss the warmth, comfort, security of home. Villa Nina is just that, honestly! from each handpicked curio to Stephan's museum of an office to Nina's stories of every bonsai she owns....to a private collection of unique apres work beverages....Merci' my dear friends..a very nice job done- Farook Singh Andyw70 / Newport, Royaume-Uni / 29 septembre 2012 “Perfect place, Perfect stay” We didnt want any big fancy hotels when we contemplated staying in the french riviera, and when we settled on Juan Le Pins, just outside of Antibes we couldnt have chosen a nicer spot to get away from it all.
Hotel Nina struck us as a nice boutique hotel that apparently was just yards from the beach, we decided to take a chance and book it an we werent dissapointed.
The hotel was literally yards from the beach, probably about 100 or so to be accurate, the dcor of hotel was wonderful housing beautiful pieces of furniture and art collected from the owners travels over the years and their parisian home.
From the moment we were greeted at the airport, which was arranged by Stephan to the moment we walked through the door at Hotel Nina our trip was always going to be a little bit specia. Not becasue we were staying in 5 star luxury but because Stephan & Nina really do care and go out of their way to make your stay with them as pleasent as can be.
Although we didnt have breakfast much ( mainly because we slept in until Breakfast had finished ) the room which it was served was like walking into some top designer / artists apartment without the flashiness. The art pieces and furniture on display in that room were beautiful, and through the patio doors led into another world, that being the fabulous bonzai garden which Clare & I found many a peaceful momement and somewere to go and chill and reflect. Stephan came out one evening, said hello, lit some beautiful candles and left us alone....... what a nice touch !!
The rooms were impeccably clean, very cosy and decored beautifully, next time though we will definately be staying in a room with a balcony and sea view not only are these slightly bigger but to have that balcony and view is what its all about ! Our trip with a sea view and balcony would have scored 10/10 but will have to settle for 9/10 as we had an inside double :-(, still nice but not quiet the same
In summary, great hosts, lovely wonderful people, beautiful place and idealy situated with the beach, shops and lovely restaurants just a stones throw away.
looking forward to coming back................... and soon
Thanks Stephan & Nina x
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
James F / Sydney, Australie / 28 septembre 2012 “Insolite at Juan les Pins” Somehow, the proximity of Villa Nina to the railway line does not detract from the experience. Less than 100m from Juan les Pins beach, and located in a pleasant precinct, Villa Nina is a "B&B" experience. The exotic tastes of owner Stephan and his wife are reflected in the decore and the ambience of the lounge, the peaceful garden and the rooms. After I left Villa Nina I went to stay in a major hotel in Paris, Overall I preferred my stay at Villa Nina, and hope to return again next year. Jan D / York, Royaume-Uni / 20 septembre 2012 “Wonderful memories” The ambience at this boutique hotel is what you come away with and the feeling that the hosts really care about your stay, both in their hotel and also in their country. It was beautiful and charming at the same time with great attention to detail and really relaxed. We had such a lovely stay in Juan Le Pin and our memories of our stay include the warmth we felt from our hosts. Its quite difficult to find a place with character in a great location but Hotel Nina has both these qualities. I would definitely recommend it if you are not keen on the ordinary. Ci ritorneremo presto. Magari a Dicembre. Grazie ancora Stephan ! jenns20 / Orlando, Floride / 4 septembre 2012 “Average with no disappointments” I read many (mixed) reviews of Villa Nina, before deciding to try it. As such, I went with an open mind. Firstly, most reviews listed host Stephan and his lovely wife as the main asset. Both are gracious, intriguing, and lived up to most of the commentary on TA. Personally, I established no exceptional rapport that would make me return yearly, as many seemed to have done. Next one must consider the location. For me, this has two aspects: (1) the amazing part of being located 50 meters from the small but beautiful beach at Juan les Pins and (2) what is actually located around the hotel. Understand that there is no view outside the Villa's own quaint garden (abandoned building aside). Furthermore, there are train tracks near by (I can assure you there was oddly little noise from them ). That being said, readers should understand that this is the French Rivera. If you are looking for big bathrooms on the beach with a sea view for for 120Euro/night during the summer, you are likely delusional. While the hotel is appears somewhat passed it's hey-day, it is very clean and friendly. Continental breakfast is offered for 5Euro/person. Their coffee is fabulous and worth this price alone. The hotel sports an extensive whiskey collection. It provides easy access to both Cannes and Nice. There is a lovely private beach called "Le Plage" which is 13 Euro for the day. This is cheap when compared to most of the private beaches. It is also walking distance to Cap Antibes, and all that area has to offer. This is not a hotel for young children. It seems to be a hotel for adults who wish to return yearly, and have that welcoming feel the hosts may offer them.
RozanneWrites / Los Alamitos, Californie / 20 août 2012 “Lovely, lovely stay at Hotel Villa Nina” Right from the time of booking, you know this is a special place. I was contacted directiy by owner Stephan, concerning details of our stay. This small hotel has a boutique, bed & breakfast ambience with a very pretty garden and charming inside sitting area. Our hosts, Stephan and his wife Nina were very helpful at all times and provided a wonderful breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return someday! Heather052265 / Cancun, Mexique / 18 août 2012 “Excellent hospitality and hotel” From the moment I booked, the owners of the hotel were superbly friendly and helpful. They arranged all transfers for us, took the most amazing care of us and were 2 of the nicest and friendliest people we have ever met. Our stay was truly fantastic because of them. I will return and recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Antibes or Juan Les Pins. Location is fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't go anywhere else except Villa Nina. Wendy B / Perth, Australie / 10 août 2012 “Fantastic last few days in France” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Nina and would recommend it 100%. Location is brilliant. It is located at the quieter end of Juan Les Pins, yet only a short walk to the beach and fabulous beach restaurants. Our hosts were wonderful and very helpful and attentive. A short drive to Nice Airport was a plus for us before a long flight back to Australia. pennylala / Melbourne, Australie / 27 juillet 2012 “Excellent hospitality” The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful and kind hospitality from the owner, Stephan. Great personality and eager to help make your stay comfortable. He even called me while I was still in Australia to clarify a few things about my booking (as I had requested a small change in the package), instead of just emailing me like everyone else does.
The hotel itself is charming and welcoming. Lot's of personal touches throughout the hotel with a lovely courtyard in which to eat your breakfast. The room was good and served it's purpose, I think I remember the bed being a little hard.
The location is great. It's about a 10 minute walk from the train station but make sure you know where are going as we had to stop to ask a shop owner for directions. 2 minute walk to the beach where you can actually choose from the private beach or the public beach. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Overall a good hotel made great through the excellent hospitality and personal touches.
Gwyn H / Southampton, Royaume-Uni / 26 juillet 2012 “Perfect short break” A very short walk to the lovely beach. Room, small but adequate - good air conditioning The host Stefan is great - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Guide books in the lounge a nice touch. Would definitely recommend as good value.

mnok / dublin / 18 juillet 2012 “What a wonderful find !!!” We just came back from a few days staying at Villa Nina , and the accommodation was a big highlight to our trip. Stephan and Nina were very special hosts and really worked at making the best of our trip by guiding us on places to go and really giving a feeling that they were looking out for us. I loved the garden out back and the lounge area was like being at home. I would definately return for another stay.
Caroline V / Paris, France / 3 juillet 2012 “Super accueil!”
Mokxa / Chicago, Illinois / 1 juillet 2012 “Small, neat place, nice location and great staff!” Villa Nina was reasonably priced and the rate dropped by Euro 10 per night for pre-payment. My room had a small balcony, which was lovely. The room was small and spare (and I was alone - for two or more, it would be quite a bother). Still, it clean enough, with a small screen TV and an air conditioner, which kept me cool given the high heat outside. The bathroom was a bit too small and as others have said, you cannot close the door when using the toilet. My shower head was lose but I fixed it with in a make-shift manner, rather than call the staff. There was a free parking lot adjacent to the property (it's Euro 5/day after June 1st for the summer) plus lots of roadside parking. The thing I liked a lot was the proximity to the seafront, beaches, restaurants and the hopping summer scene in Juan Les Pins. Cannes, Nice and Antibes were a small drive away. The Villa's owners were very nice and attentive, All in all, a very good lodge indeed. Torunn S / Norway / 28 juin 2012 “Oddvar and Torunn, Norway” Very nice hotel with interesting decor inside and in the garden! Close to the beach and a nice area in Juan Le Pins. We missed an open bar to buy water and and a glass of wine. Made to feel very welcomed back. Clean and comfortable. Excellent location for beach, station, Juan Les Pins centre and walkable to Antibes too. Gaye W / Norwich, Royaume-Uni / 4 juin 2012 “Quirky and charming” We love the south of France out of season and wanted to feel like locals, not tourists. This hotel is characterful, charming and totally relaxed. Stephan and Sophia made us feel so welcome, more like friends than guests. The facilities are basic but there are personal touches everywhere and all is beautifully themed and decorated. No, it's not the Hilton but that's not what we wanted and this suited us and our budget perfectly. suzymacAlaska / Homer, Alaska / 3 juin 2012 “Great, Warm, Friendly, Comfortable” We discovered this excellent small hotel by accident and were so happy we did. Stefan couldn't have been more amazingly helpful to us in so many ways as we were completely new to the region. His lovely wife, Nina, made delicious breakfasts each morning and was equally warm and informative. The hotel was charming in so many small details and was one block from the beach. Would recommend it highly. TomC1986 / Manchester, Royaume-Uni / 3 juin 2012 “Great friendly place!” Had a really good stay at this warm, friendly easy going B&B... Would definitely stay again! Close to the beach, great location.. the staff were very nice and helped a lot.. Thank you! Alexander T / Zurich, Suisse / 2 juin 2012 “Excellent!” That was a great stay. I was totally satisfied! Perfect equilibrium between price and quality. My best recommendations. Carlinar / Melbourne / 31 mai 2012 “Eclectic and Comfortable” My husband and I stayed one night mid-May, which is fairly "low season", and my daughter and her partner stayed for two. Hosts Stefan and Nina were very friendly and welcoming. Stefan provided lots of very useful information, and Nina provided a nice breakfast in the dining room which she has personally decorated. The breakfast included the mandatory croissant. The whole hotel is very cozy and alluring with its charming and eclectic decor. The suites, though small, were comfortable and clean. Nina is an ardent decorator and after breakfast she invited us to enjoy the garden by the dining area. However we first sat in the lounge with Stefan in order to ensure we received his excellent advice for our trip. Unfortunately, we were then hurried out of the lounge/dining area and locked out so that it could be cleaned. I was very surprised as I thought this was an area for the guests to enjoy, and I was disappointed not to see the garden. Despite this, I would say that the personalities of both the hotel and its hosts make up for what this hotel lacks compared to more spacious hotels. Though the hotel doesn't have a lift, I am sure you can get some help with your baggage at this hotel. Just let the hosts know if you need it. I can't climb a lot of stairs, but I managed two do the couple of flights to my room. The en suite and separate WC were very small, but clean and bright. The suites also bear Nina's gorgeous eclectic decor. The location is excellent in relation to restaurants and beach activities and we found a wonderful eatery right on the beach (literally on the sand), which opens till 1.00 am or so. The seafood was excellent. It was disappointing that I had so little time in Juan Les Pins, as it would have been lovely if I could have extended my stay to explore the area, and enjoy this hotel some more ; exploring the books, pictures and curiosities in its well-appointed lounge and to view the garden. It is well worth a visit to Villa Nina. juliet w / Londres, Royaume-Uni / 27 mars 2012 “Very friendly and comfortable b and b between Nice and Cannes” Really enjoyed staying at Hotel Villa Nina which is an excellent and very reasonably priced b and b. The very hospitable and friendly owner Stephan gave us some great advice about local restaurants etc, and could not have been more helpful. Although the bedrooms are quite small they are well equipped and the reception rooms are very tastefully decorated in a slightly quirky way. Please visit, you won't be disappointed! Rubyredhead77 / San Antonio, TX / 17 janvier 2012 “The best French Riviera bed & breakfast you can find!” Our stay at the Villa Nina 1 & 1/2 year ago was so remarkable and memorable that we still are talking fondly about it today! My friend and I traveled Europe for 6 weeks to study abroad in law school and in all the places we came across, the hospitality and "je ne sais quoi" we found with the Villa Nina owners was unparalleled. They genuinely want you to feel at home at their wonderful bed & breakfast. (And bonus points to Stefan for having been a University of Texas alumni-hook 'em!!) Given the option of staying in pricey Nice versus the quaint Juan Les Pins, we were thrilled with our decision, and there was nothing about our 4 day stay that we felt was lacking. The hotel was in perfect proximity from the beach- you must take Stefan's advice and pay the extra money for the private beach right next door- it was well worth the money to stay and lounge all day unencumbered. The location was key for some fantastic day trips to Monte Carlo and Cannes, to really get a well-rounded French Riviera experience. Do yourself a favor- spend your vacation time in Juan Les Pins, and do it right by staying at the Villa Nina. anais b / Agen, France / 16 décembre 2011 “Séjour à deux plus qu'agréable!!!”
Cfpscott / Aspen, Colorado / 26 septembre 2011 “Another Great Stay” We just finished our second stay at Villa Nina and, again, it was fantastic. Stephan and Nina run a fine little hotel. Looking forward to our next visit. AMarija / Oslo, Norvège / 18 septembre 2011 “Your home away from home :)” Just a few steps from the promenade/beach in Juan les Pins, makes Villa Nina a perfect place to stay. The rooms were small, but clean and airconditioned. Breakfast in the garden amongst an orange tree and beautiful flowers. The ever so friendly/lovely hosts Nina & Stephan made the stay unforgettable. Would I go back, YES and YES! Do I recommend it YES! MicheleLibanese / Seregno, Italie / 29 août 2011 “Piacevole” Hotel molto curato, personale gentile e accogliente. Christine / Oslo, Norvège / 29 août 2011 “Villa Nina, Juan les Pins - A most charming hotel” Villa Nina Hotel is a very charming hotel - small and cosy! The hosts were very helpful. The hotel is situated near to the Mediterrean Sea, the beach-promenade and the nice beaches in Juan les Pins. Relaxing and good place to stay! RichardHM / Sydney, Australie / 28 août 2011 “Most enjoyable” We stayed for three nights and recommend. Villa Nina highly - it was comfortable, clean and convenient. Most importantly the customer service on all kinds of things from Stephan and Nina was delightful - warm, friendly, helpful and efficient.
One highlight was the proximity of a truck with a pizza oven in the back!
Truuswaalwijk / waalwijk / 28 août 2011 “we loved it and we'll be back!!!!” Very nice setting, perfectly situated near the beach and a warm welcome!
Breakfast in the garden was very romantic.
Un voyageur de Hotels.com / 9 août 2011 “Charming!” Villa Nina is located close to the beach in the central parts of Juan les Pins. Stephan and Nina, the owners of the hotel, are the most friendly and helpful that I ever met!
My room had a balcony with sea-wiev and sunset. Marvellous! The railway is passing just in front of the hotel - between the sea and the hotel - but it is few trains during night, so that was no problem.
The bath-room belonging to my room was tiny, but the shower and evertything else were well-functioning!
I will recommend this hotel as a good place to stay when visiting The French Riviera.
Austraveller / le 7 août 2011 “What a gem! Couldn't recommend more!” What a great place to stay... So friendly and helpful, and a stone throws away from the beach! Clean room, good bathroom, and owners were amazingly helpful and hospitable Sackbut58 / Lisburn, Royaume-Uni / 7 août 2011 “A friendly hotel which we would visit again.” Stephan is the most welcoming and helpful proprietor of this pretty hotel. He was always on hand to give advice and help on interesting places to visit.
Our room was small, especially the en suite, but very clean and in good condition.
We were very aware of the the traffic noise from the street and the nearby railway, but it was otherwise ideal for our requirements.
GarethT / 27 juillet 2011 “Hosts that make you feel like the most important people in the hotel” Wonderful stay in a great location. 1 minute from the sea and great restaurants.. Thoroughly recommend a stay at Villa Nina!! molly0119 / Oslo, Norvège / 27 juillet 2011 “Friendly hosts, private atmosphere and great location” We had an exellent time, we enjoyed our cozy tripple room with a balcony. As we knew about the noisy traffic outside it didnt matter. We really enjoyed the private beach close to the hotel. 5-10 mins to restaurants and shops. KagLondon / London / 25 juillet 2011 “CHARMING HOTEL” This Hotel could not be nearer the beach.
Had a fab time and would certainly use this hotel again.
Staff friendly and helpful
Jeremy / uk / 24 juillet 2011 “Hospitable, clean and convenient” Small boutique hotel with interesting decor. Clean rooms and friendly hosts. Very close to beach and town. Good breakfast. Public parking available on site. Inspiration / Londres, Royaume-Uni / July 19, 2011 “Lovely cosy little hotel: one of a kind” Villa Nina is a very special place: it's like an antique shop turned into a small hotel.
The rooms are essential but nicely decorated - however the whole atmosphere is unique and the service is extremely good: extremely friendly and helpful, they try to assist you with whatever you may need.
We tried the breakfast on our last day and it was really nice and to a high standard: fresh croissants and crunchy baguettes, home-made cakes and fresh fruit. The garden is something to experience: there are so many bonsai trees and a cute pagoda.
If you're after something different from a standard hotel, then Villa Nina is definitely a good choice.
Skeldog / July 7, 2011 “We loved the Villa Nina.” We loved the Villa Nina. The hosts were extremely hospitable and the location was perfect. We inn itself was very comfortable and clean and had a nice home feel to it. Would definitely stay there again! JulieandPatrick / Belfast / July 7, 2011 “A lovely friendly little hotel” Villa Nina is a little gem of a hotel and that is largely due to the super couple Stefan and Nina who run it . They specialise in kind, courteous personal service with plenty of personality. The hotel is very clean and there are quirky pictures and artefacts everywhere. It is run like a B&B with a really inviting dining rm/ lounge and a quaint bonsai garden where you can also eat. Lovely breakfast. Whilst the hotel is close to a railway line, it isn't bothersome- (think quiet zoom past as opposed to loud chug- definately in France!) The hotel has passing traffic, as it is on the street, but cars have to pass by slowly to alternate through the underpass. The area has a local district feel- (a few local cafe's - more lower east side than manhattan- a delicatessan, local bakery and a supermarket not far away)! There is a lovely flower shop just opposite. Outside the hotel to the right, yards away walk through the short underpass, then a mere pedestrian crossing and voila-you're at the sea and the heart of the resort. It is also extremely convenient to all transport- top of the street head up to the bus stop, the '200' on either side of the road. Stefan's helpful tips included not forgetting the direction, drive on right etc!! Bus goes to Nice in one direction and Cannes in the other. The train, which is much quicker to bigger spots, is a ten minute walk along the promenade and up to the left, taking you all along the coast. There is also a local minibus stop just outside the hotel which circles around the town frequently and stops at the train station- handy after a long day out. The compact centre/ boutiques are also 10 mins along the promenade. If you feel like having a break to the french rivieria which includes a holiday feel then choose this hotel. Just one tip: Rue St Marguerite, Juan Les Pins is down by the sea and not up in a residential area as indicated in some maps (which is Avenue of same name). You will be treated very well in this lovely hotel. I highly recommend it! Happy_Wifey / Moscou, Russie / 6 juillet 2011 “Good value, excellent choice if you want to save money” Villa Nina has it charm and top location and we liked it's honest price for what you get.
I liked: office area and dining room are full with unique decorations from all over the world and also there are a lot of paintings and pictures everywhere, it's a pleasure to look at them. Location - really close to the most beautiful part of the beach, close to the tourist center.
I disliked: I hoped to see a swimming pool (I didn't ask about it while booking so it's only my own fault but still it would have been great to have it). It was a road and a railroad very close so we had to keep all windows closed. However the airconditioning worked well.
Christine / Vancouver-Nord, Canada / July 2, 2011 “Lovely little oasis in this busy town” Lovely little hotel to stay at. Stephan and Nina were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed the leisurely breakfast in their lovely dining room/ lounge area and also the time in their little oasis at the back of the hotel - loved all those Bonzai trees.
DavidRandBarbaraP / Bled, Slovénie / May 28, 2011 “If You are looking for a hotel in the area, this is the right choice!” Me and my girl went there on a short holidays / business stay for a couple of nights in the beginning of May. When You enter the Villa, You can immediately sense that this is not an average hotel. All over the reception, hallway, library and the owners office You can find a wast collection of art, antiquities, designs and memorabilia from all time periods and all corners of the world. There is also a vast selection of books and magazines in French and in English. And don't forget to check the owners bonsai garden!
The rooms are nice and what I personally find the most important - they are very, very clean! We had a sea view from the balcony and we could also see the owners bonsai garden from above.
The position of the hotel is one of the best between Nice and Cannes. It is located less than one minute walk to the beaches and restaurants. There is a nice walk to Cap d'Antibes and every day after the dinner we went for a walk to the old tovn of Antibes. If You are an art lover, You are literally between two Picasso museums - the one in Antibes and the one in the village of Vallauris. First is a short walk and the other a short drive away.
Beside relaxing I also had to do some work - as a gallerist I had to pick some pieces of art that I bought on the auctions in Cannes. The owner was very helpful. Since I don't speak french, he made all phone calls for me and arrange me the meetings with the staff of auction houses and galleries.
I am planing to came back again, next time with my kids.
And as I said: If You are looking for a hotel in the area, this is the right choice!
ktlloyd82 / Philadelphia, Pennsylvania / Apr 29, 2011 “Perfect in Every Way” We stayed at Hotel Villa Nina because of all of the positive reviews we read online. The hotels in Nice seemed overpriced and the town of Juan Les Pins seemed perfect for spending time on less crowded, but beautiful beaches and being able to easily access the other towns by train.
What sets Villa Nina above and beyond other places is the owners. They were wonderful! They made this feel more like a B&B rather than a hotel. They were warm and friendly and so helpful in guiding us to all of the best places to see in the Cote d'Azur. It was located just steps from the beach and also very close to shops, restaurants, and the train station. The room was great, though the bathroom was a bit small.
I would recommend this place to all of my friends traveling in this area. I could not have been happier with this selection. tjolson / Green Bay, Wisconsin / Apr 25, 2011 “The Hotel Villa Nina offers the best service possible!” The Hotel Villa Nina is a hidden gem. It's a short walk to the beach and centre ville and close to many restaurants, bread shops and markets. The owners are very gracious and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They also gave us sight seeing tips and recommendations to make our stay very enjoyable. We highly recommend the Hotel Villa Nina to anyone but especially couples as the location is close to Cannes and Nice and other interesting locations in the Cote d'Azure. DTNPROMAN / Ft. Worth, TX / Apr 7, 2011 “Amazing and More!” Amazing Location! (Only a minute walk to a fabulous beach)
Amazing Hospitality! (Unmatched anywhere I have been)
Amazing Restaurants and Shopping! (All within an easy walking distance)
The Perfect place for the business traveler (Wifi Hot Spot here too) to chill out or the perfect spot for a romantic getaway.
Emilykridout / Ancona, Italy / 24 Feb 2011 “A warm and welcoming hotel” A warm and welcoming hotel with a wonderful husband & wife team. The hotel has a unique style and a quirky edge. We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were clean, comfortable and free internet access! We enjoyed the lounge area which has an eclectic style, of furniture and ornaments which Stephan and Nina must have collected throughout the years together.....and then there is the Bonsai garden, a place of tranquility. What stood out the most was how welcomed we felt by the owners......oh and the wonderful Croissants at breakfast! We would highly recommend and we will be staying next time we stop at Juan-Les-Pins.
Complimenti! dbond1 / Chicago / Dec 12, 2010 “Travel Angel” Traveling September 2009, we stumbled across the Hotel Villa Nina in Juan les Pins by chance. We were on a nice 2 week trip to Northern Italy. We had a wonderful week in Cinque Terre and decided to take a one day trip to Juan Les Pins after a couple that lived in the area recommended we go. We had no reservations at any hotel.
We just pulled into town, found a free parking space on the street and started walking down to the beach. My wife needed to use a bathroom so she went into the Hotel Nina while I waited outside. She loved it at first sight with it's avant guarde collection of art and decor abound. She immediately got a great vibe of the hotel and from the owner Stephan. He quoted my wife an attractive price for one day's stay. She excitedly came out and told me about it. We decided to walk around by the beach and check out a few other hotels. We ended up staying at Hotel Nina and are so happy we did. As others have mentioned our host was gracious, hospitable and extremely knowledgeable. We had no other plans for the rest of the week except to go back to Italy and visit a number of other town and cities. Stephan was a huge help. We called him our "travel angel" because he assisted us with our plans for the rest of our Italian trip. He recommended a hotel in Venice where he stays when he travels there. He called the hotel, booked us a room and wrote us a nice letter of introduction to the hotel manager in Venice! Wonderful of course. He also recommended that we go to Perugia which we did. Once again recommending his favorite hotel there. Spectacular! Stephan was a mountain of knowledge making our stay at Hotel Nina priceless. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Nina who was not there at the time we were. Highly recommend the Hotel Nina!!!! Thank you Stephan our Travel Angel!
MJC145 / Kingston, Canada / Nov 15, 2010 “The Friendliest and Most Welcoming Hotel” Hotel Villa Nina is a lovely hotel with a great location - walking distance to the beach of Juan-les-Pins! Our stay was made more delightful by our hosts - Nina and Stephan. We felt as if we were visiting with friends - gracious, hospitable and knowledgeable friends. While our room was small (my husband is over 6 ft) it was well equipped and suited our needs nicely. Our breakfasts were delicious and we very much enjoyed chatting with both Nina and Stephan learning more about the area. The advice offered was relevant and extremely pertinent. They made us feel most at home. I'm happy to recommend the hotel for its location, excellent accommodation and hosts! Grudle / Australia / 14 oct. 2010 “A great location to experience the French Riviera” We were on a 2 week driving holiday in France, this hotel has so much going for it for a family visit to the Riviera. We had been recommended Juan Les Pins as an out of the way part of the coast that gives you a relaxed and down to earth feeling of what the Riviera is about. Stefan is an extremely friendly and enthusiastic host who will answer you every question about the area and point you in the right direction to local restaurants, tours etc. In our case he also helped us straighten out some of our grammatical issues in communicating with the French. We travelled off season for this area of France which from what I hear is a must if you can, very quiet which made this part of the trip very relaxing. We had the biggest room with the two singles in one room for the girls (10 and 12) and a view over the train line to the Riviera. The trains caused no issues the rooms have great sound insulation and in fact they made it all that much more interesting. The rooms were clean, nice bathrooms with a great shower, the rooms are not huge but it wins on so many other levels, tea and coffee in the lobby and be aware no minibar but there are ample local shops and cafes nearby. A short walk (5 min) to the beach out the front which importantly is a public beach on the left hand side once you reach the beach side, perfect for a swim and its a lovely sandy beach (even from an Australian gold coast perspective)...we swam almost every day of our 4 day stay. This beach front is littered with restaurants from where you enter the beach side from saint marguerite and continues all the way along to the town centre, only 15 minutes and thriving with shops, market style areas and scenery that makes you sure you are somewhere special. This hotel is particularly good if you have wheels, the public open car park surrounds the back and railway side of the hotel, providing a safe and convenient spot for loading and unloading (cheap to boot 5 euro a day - even better free off season as well - the day we left, Oct 1) peder273 / Holbaek, Danemark / 12 oct. 2010 “Typical French style with the best service you can get” Little typical French style hotel with the rightful owner. He and his wife gave us the best service you can get. The rooms are not very big but charming. The living room and sitting room are furnished in a very charming way. If you want luxury this hotel is not the place. But if you want relaxing, hospitality and kindness then Hotel Nina is the place. MaxandMillie / Perth / 11 oct. 2010 “Lovely hotel, great location with wonderful hosts.” We had a most enjoyable stay at Villa Nina in Juan les Pins, it was a lovely small hotel in a great location very close to the beach. The hosts were extremely helpful and a lovely couple. Christinevaloussiere / Brasilia / 5 oct. The_Quirkies / London / 3 oct. 2010 “VIP service!” Stephan and family gave us an excellent welcome!
My wife and I had arrived late at night in Juan les Pins to check in and Stephan came outside to welcome us and found a safe spot outside the hotel for my cherished Audi TT. This allowed me to sleep soundly, as I was worried about leaving my car in a secluded location.
The room was pretty small, however the service and the wonderful garden (which we ate breakfast in), made for a memorable stay.
DTNPROMAN / Ft. Worth, TX / 3 oct. 2010 / Repeat visitor “Excellent! That is why I keep coming back.” Excellent location in Juan les Pins, with a very close walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Attention is given to every detail of your stay to insure it is a pleasant one. I stay here on business trips because it is close to Cannes, yet far enough away to relax in a casual, laid back atmosphere, after taking care of business. Feels like a home away from home. I would recommend Villa Nina for the business traveler, as well as for a romantic getaway. You will find hospitality and charm here that you don't find at most establishments. Travelkahn / Stockholm / 27 sept.
2010 “Hospitality Plus on the French Riviera!” We experienced the warmest greeting upon our arrival and "hospitality plus" throughout our stay at Villa Nina. Gregarious Stephan and his lovely wife, Nina, were most delightful. Stephan even called us within minutes of making the online reservation to caution us against the "nightmare" of visiting the Riviera in August and to deter us from making the trek from Bandol "for only one night" at his place. Regardless, we had no regrets in making this journey. No problem with communications either. Both Stephan and Nina speak impeccably in English (with Nina speaking at least five languages fluently). Stephan helped us procure a space on the beach (only one block, easy walking) and advised us on local eateries. After a thoroughly enjoyable dinner at Le Perroquet (The Parokeet) in Juan les Pins, we discovered a fabulous outdoor crafts/jewelry market on our return trip walking back to our "home away from home." The next morning our delicious and indulgent breakfast in their relaxing garden patio set us on a perfect course for our trip into Italy. We would definitely recommend this wonderfully charming "bed and breakfast" to others.
Note: As Stephan explained, parking is "a bear" so plan to arrive early and heed any words of wisdom he has for your parking before "settling in" during your stay. Walking everywhere along the Riviera--how bad can that be???
lynnbarnard56 / Colchester, UK / 19 sept. 2010 “Quirky,Friendly hotel” quaint little hotel, amazing hosts, bedrooms a little bit small, but position and atmosphere compensated for this, people said the trains kept them awake I am a light sleeper & did not hear a thing, would go back cscalpone / Portland, Oregon / 18 sept. “Lovely, warm hotel and owners” We stayed in the Junior Suite for four days, and would return in a heartbeat. The hotel is very clean, charming and homey, with a Mediterranean flair. The garden patio is a lovely spot for breakfast. The suite was not huge, but was nicely-appointed, with a queen bed and nice, modern shower in the main room, and a fairly small room off the main room with two twin beds and the bathroom w/ toilet. The only drawback was that the air conditioning didn't really circulate into the twin-beds room, leaving it a little warmer than the main room. The hotel is located very near the beach of Juan les Pins, but not right in the middle of all the activity, which was great. It can be quite a party on the beach/promenade on weekend nights, but is very relaxed and family oriented during the day and on weekday nights the promenade is great for walking, people-watching and shopping the market stalls. The very best thing about the Villa Nina are the owners, Stephan and Nina. They are exceptionally warm and friendly, give you lots of great tips on where to go and things to do, and help to make sure your stay with them is the vacation you want it to be. I hope to stay with them again one day soon. hoe-heet-je / Essen, Belgique / 18 sept. 2010 “Our stay in Hotel villa Nina” In one word, it was fantastic as well the hotel as the owners, we recommend every one if you go to Juan les Pins you must stay in this hotel. We have a wonderful vacation. Cfpscott / Aspen, Colorado / 16 sept. 2010 “A Great Place To Stay In Juan-les-Pins” We had a great 5 night stay. Stephan and his staff really work hard to make sure that their guests have a great experience. We would stay there again for sure! sylvain692 / Lyon, France / 13 sept. Niki10Dubai / Dubai / 24 août 2010 “Stephan is a gem..” A friend and I stayed at Villa Nina for 2 nights and would like to thank Stephan for his amazing hospitality during our stay. He responded quickly to all my emails and answered any questions I had, and was also extremely helpful and friendly during our stay. He knows everything about the area and is always full of tips and pointers. He even did his best to help us find a beauty salon! He truly is an example to all hotel owners out there.
The location of Villa Nina hotel is also perfect for exploring Juan les Pins, you can walk to everything and it's super close to the beach. The room & bathroom were clean and the bathroom had a great high pressured shower. The outdoor terrace / bonsai garden is gorgeous. I would certainly stay here again, and recommend it to others.
HFizzle / Montreal / 9 août 2010 “amazing hotel, amazing host, amazing location” this is certainly the place to stay in Juan les pins.... the owner is amazing (as is his wife), rooms are cozy and clean, and location can't be beat! Driflie / Missouri / 30 juil. 2010 “Delightful and eclectic” This is a small hotel, two blocks from the beach (Juan les Pins) and near a string of sea-side restaurants offering everything from low-price fast food to fine, upscale dining. The owners -- husband and wife -- are engaging, friendly and eager to assist. Their interests are obviously wide-ranging, as evidenced by the eclectic decor of the Villa. Rooms are small, as is generally the case in France, but comfortable. We had a very early morning departure and were greatly concerned about missing our travel connections following a terrible experience with transportation in the area several days previously (1-1/2 hour wait for a taxi), but the owner rose before 6AM to be certain we did not miss our train. This kind of extra service is hard to find and much appreciated. Grugs / 21 juil. 2010 “We had a great time in Villa Nina…” We had a great time in Villa Nina. The best bit was the proprietor, Stephan, who went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed his fabulous hotel to the 'max'. The noise level in the rooms was the biggest 'downer', but what else can expect with such a superb location only minutes from the beach. The breakfast and lounge areas are something to behold and make sure you take time for a drink in Stephan's lovely garden full of bonsai plants! MIstral09 / Stockholm / 12 juil. 2010 “Cosy and friendly” This hotel feels like a privatehouse with its personal atmosphere and cosy interiours. We especially appreciated the breakfast in the garden surrounded by beautiful garden ornaments and shady cornerswhere we could sit and sip our coffees. The hotel is perfectly located metres from the beacharea. The passing cars by the stoplights just next to out balcony was a little disturbing and the train passes now and then close by. Inspite of that I have to recommend the hotel for a couple of days as it is well worth the money and to save the best for last .. the couple running the hotel are extremely friendly, available at all hours and up to your next wish all the time. MnEST / San Diego, Californie / 12 juil. 2010 “The Epitome of Hospitality” We enjoyed the most relaxing vacation of all time within the embrace of Stephan's hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel as if we were staying with old friends. The hotel itself is as charming as the hosts. The location is great for beach, dining and transportation. We selected a front room with a balcony that was completely surrounded by purple flowers and felt wonderfully private. Light sleepers may have a bit of an issue with the street and occasional rail noise, but the entire experience more than offsets this minor inconvenience. Periscope / Mandal, Norway / 11 juil. 2010 “A very French hotel” Stephan and Nina makes the stay memorable. They are kind, service minded, smiling, helpful and not least - they speak excellent English. Breakfast in the bonsai-garden or dining room is very good. Not extravagant, but you get all you need and a little more. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom just big enough to close the door behind you. The hotel is very close to the beach, owner claimes that it is 40m, maybe only 60m. But you have to cross under the railwayline and over a trafficated road. Railway is in the middle between hotel and beach, at level with 2.floor. The trains are so frequent that we got used to them. In addition to the noise from railway, the street outside hotel is rather noisy with discomusic from cars waiting for the traffic light. Otherwise the location is excellent, close to restaurants, bars, beach and what you need. The public beaches are very good, crowded but you will always find a space NaniHirel / Hirel, Bretagne / 11 juil. 2010 “Ideal Accomodation and Location with Warm and Friendly Welcome” Villa Nina was the perfect choice for our stay in the Côte d'Azur. The proximity to the train station made exploring the area (Monaco, Nice, Cannes etc.) very easy. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained and a bright and colorful. We travel a lot and have stayed in all sorts of hotels in different countries and have never felt more welcome than we were made to feel by Stephan. He truly is the perfect host. As for the room, it was clean, comfortable and a pleasure to come back to after long days exploring the area. The hotel is ideally situated near the train station of Juan les Pins (an easy 10 minute walk) and about 1 minute from the beach. There is the option of going to the public (free) beaches or numerous beach clubs. Juan-Les-Pins was easy to visit on foot, and we walked to Antibes and explored the marina, shopping, market and Picasso Museum There are excellent restaurants near the hotel, one standout is Le Ruban Bleu. One not to miss activity is taking the train to Eze-Sur-Mer and then either hiking up the mountain (1h15min) or taking a bus to EZE, a medieval village perched on the mountain. Very picturesque and made for a great afternoon of visiting the village, shopping and enjoying a drink or meal at one of the restaurants. Each day it was a pleasure to return to Villa Nina and see Stephan's smiling face, asking how everything was. We'd recommend Villa Nina to anyone who wants a comfortable, beautiful place to stay at a very fair price. Happy Travels! travelbugjunkie / nyc / 28 juin 2010 “Top-notch hospitality” Stephan & Nina, the owners of Villa Nina were absolutely charming, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is just one block from a great beach and minutes from all the action in the center of town.
If you're looking for top-notch hospitality, I highly recommend Villa Nina.
swim10 / Morristown, New Jersey / 27 juin 2010 “Eclectic, gracious, old world service, indoor and outdoor relaxtion salons.” Husband and wife proprietors :Stephan and Nina are at the same time lively, generous, worldy and accomodating to their guests. As a repeat client, I always feel safe and welcome at their establishment. Excellent location near beach and village. Easy , safe parking next door in public lot. I plan on staying at their abode one week out of every year for the rest of my life! Fnschultz / New York / 16 juin 2010 “Cosy and beautiful -- the perfect hotel!” Villa Nina made our vacation even more lovely. The hotel is very clean and well run. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are new. The owner is extremely helpful and very involved. He knew everyone by name and is fluent in English. He has created a lovely, peaceful getaway in Juan-les-Pins. I would highly recommend booking this hotel for your visit! Venus77-1010 / St. Gallen / 31 mars 2010 “Home sweet home” You feel like with friends.. It's a small Hotel, which is runned by the owners themselves. Nina and Stephan do everything for her guests and they run her business with lots of love. You can see that for example in the little garden or the lovely prepared breakfast. The lobby and the rooms are always clean. If there is a claim, they handle it immediately. When you have a question about trips or activities in the surrounding, the owners help you patiently and professionaly. They speak different languages.
The sole minus point is the room size. The rooms are very small, not every one has a balcony and the accomodation is older. But it doesn't bother - the atmosphere in this hotel is such cozy, that you overlook that.
The location of the hotel is great. Just across the street is the public beach and also some privat beaches. Restaurants and little shops are around the corner. The center of Juan-les-Pins is in walking distance (about 10min.). The hotel is in a side road and therefor very quiet.
I can just recommend it, for every age and for every occation. It was a really great time in a familial little paradise-castle...

2010 “A lovely discovery.” This charming hotel has the personality of a large B&B. The presence of the owners is reflected in the excellent running of this establishment.
You will enjoy the flowery setting and the unique interior design; you really feel as though you are in a large home where you will encounter friends.
The sea is very nearby, and although the railroad tracks are also close at hand, the occasional passing train never seems a bother. The floral arrangements, the outstanding collection of bonsais, the delightful garden, the amazing lounge and its library, and the generous buffet breakfast perfectly reflect the warm welcome of the hosts. The Villa Nina is a happy surprise.

Raresfamily / Oradea / 6 déc. 2009 “French hospitality, basic amenities” A stay at Vila Nina, is a good opportunity to meet the french hospitality : friendly, chic but overrated. If you are well aware of that, all the reviews of Vila Nina are true, if not could be disappointing.
Best at this hotel is their approach.
French Riviera is a must see, but Juan-les-Pins is very crowded in august. Looking for best value for money, I think Antibes is better than Juan-le-pins.
Ronika7 / Moscow / 19 oct. 2009 “Cordial, intellectual, caring and far-sighted hosts” Dear travellers!
If you are after cordial, intellectual, caring and far-sighted hosts with a wonderful sense of humour who are well informed about the best tourist routes in and around Juan Les Pins with lovely places to enjoy the French cuisine from little family boulangeries to oyster bars located nearby - then, Villa Nina hotel is for You!
Matt068 / Paris / 7 oct.
DTNPROMAN / Ft. Worth, TX / 6 oct. 2009 “I Don't Want To Leave!” Another perfect stay at Villa Nina! I love everything about this place. The perfect place to relax after a day of business in Cannes, or a day strolling the beach side and shops, which are in an easy walking distance from the Villa Nina. I like a corner room here with sliding glass doors on each side, that I can open if I want to let the wonderful sea breeze blow through. A flat screen TV had been added to the room since my last stay here. Villa Nina would be the perfect location to stay at for a romantic getaway. Go ahead, give Villa Nina a try, and you too will say, "I Don't Want to Leave!"
TexasBushman / Texas / 9 août 2009 “Everything as Advertised” Family of 5 traveling with young childern on first trip overseas, we required good communication with the hotel in advance of our stay. The proprietors, Stephen and Nina, were very informative and accomodating. The Villa Nina was well recommended online, however the hotel does not have kids areas. It is a boutique hotel very close the beaches and action of Juan Les Pins. Because we knew what to expect, our stay was excellent. The atmosphere, similar to the French culture, requires well behaved children. Breakfast was good and as reasonable as any other place. What you get is a comfortable bed, small bathroom, warm atmosphere, and excellent service. Be advised, one of the cable channels had porn late at night. Lorac42 / Westport, Connecticut / 17 juil. 2009 “Comfortable hotel near beach and action of Juan Les Pins” My husband, 4 year old son and I spent 2 nights recently at Hotel Villa Nina. Stephan, the owner was very accommodating from the moment we made the reservation. The hotel is in a busy residential area with lots of traffic and near a train track; however, the noise was not a problem and we slept soundly. The rooms are small with the bathroom being very small; however, they were clean and appointed nicely enough to be comfortable. We were only staying here for 2 nights and were more interested in being near the beach. Just across the street is a private beach club where you will pay 12 Euros per adult for a chair with umbrella. The public beach is right there too. Walk 10 minutes and you are in the heart of Juan les Pins which reminded us of South Beach Miami with lots of shops, restaurants and action...stores stay open til 11pm in July and August. We wished we could have stayed longer once we saw how much fun the city is. We highly recommend this hotel for comfortable and clean accommodations near all the action. Nomadicmatt / UK / 25 juin 2009 “Unique hotel, friendly owners, great location, lovely business stay” I stayed here for 5 nights in May 09. From the moment I arrived Stephan the owner gave me the full run down and was always helpful and courteous. I loved the feel of the place with unique boutique style decoration. I stayed on business and found it to be the perfect place to forget about work each evening. The location is perfect for the beach, even parking each evening isn't a problem as you can use the car park next door for free between 7pm and 8am.
Cuddlers / Shresbury / 6 avr. 2009 “Villa Nina - Friendly, Friendly, Friendly!” The size of the bathroom (or lack of it) was more than compensated for by the size of the hospitality!
Steph really looks after you. This is a really French Hotel - normally that means out of date and a little behind the rest of the World - but here it means warmth and character.
We visit Juan Les Pins at least once a year and this was our second visit to Villa Nina - would not stay anywhere else.
MiquelLBarcelona / Barcelona / 20 mars 2009 “Feeling at home!!!” I really feel at home at Villa Nina, Stephane and Nina make you feel at home.
My prefered Hotel at Cotê d'Azur. Thanks for all
ElkaGeneve / Geneve / 19 août 2008 “Helpful owner” The hotel was nicely located, one minute walk to the beach (public or private), another five minutes to the centre of Juan les Pins. The hotel is nice and clean, the lounge/breakfast area is very cosy. The room was not big and quite simple, but it was clean and you have all you need.
The big plus of this hotel is Stephan, he is very friendly and professional. He booked us the taxi from the aeroport and reserved the best table in a nice beach restaurant for the 15 August (fireworks).
If I go back to Juan les Pins I will stay at Villa Nina again.
janjam31 / Belfast, Royaume-Uni / 4 août 2008 “Charming & friendly” We spent the first 3 nights of our honeymoon in the 'junior suite' at Villa Nina and would thoroughly recommend the hotel. As someone has commented previously, luxurious it is not. However it has charm by the bucketful, and owners Stephan & Nina will do everything to help you. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, there was good air con & excellent bathroom. As it was a suite we had 2 rooms - and we would certainly look at booking this again for the space it gave us. One room for sleeping, and another for storing our suitcases.
Breakfast is extra but worth it! It's a continental buffet breakfast, and the bonus is the beautifully peaceful bonsai garden you can eat it in. A little oasis of calm amidst the bustle of Juan les Pins. The hotel's location was spot on for us. 50m from the public (sandy!) beach and there's plenty of restaurants very close by. The train station is perfectly walkable, or else there's a free shuttle bus right outside the door.
We had a fabulous time in Juan les Pins, and when we return (which we definitely shall) then we will look again at Villa Nina. Have a look at their own website because the pictures in there give you a good impression of what the hotel is like. Kitsch but tremendously good fun!

Irishphatpat / Denver / 26 juil. 2008 “Great Place to Stay” We stayed at the Villa Nina for three nights and it was great. The owner ensures his guests are well taken care of and is very interesting to talk to. The Bonsai garden is awesome, and the location is ideal. I would recommend it to anyone. jasnnic / london / 21 juil. 2008 “Excellent service” We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Villa Nina and we had such a good time. The owners went out of their way to show us such good hospitality. Very very friendly french couple, the service and room accomadation was excellent and clean . It had such a lovely quaint rustic french feel to it.
We have travelled all over the world and by far this was one of our hotels we would recommend. It is well worth a visit.
amarantha50 / Bedfordshire, England / 9 juil. 2008 “A Treat” Have had problems with my computer or would have posted this sooner. My friend's and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms are clean, breakfast was great. Have to say our stay was made by Stefan who was extremely helpful and also quite funny. Would definitely stay again. Bcardo / paris / 7 juil. LancashireMustang / Lancashire / 16 juin 2008 “Great base for Juan Les Pins” I booked this for myself and 2 girlfriends for a 4 day get away. I struggled to find anywhere reasonably priced - this area is not cheap. We just wanted somewhere close to the beach and restaurants at a decent price and Villa Nina didn't disappoint us. Stephan is lovely and helped us with finding places to eat and directions etc. It is very close to the train line so take ear plugs, we were fine as the wine made us sleep well! The bathroom is very very small but how long do you spend in there? Beach restaurants are lovely - such good quality, yes fairly pricey but you are on holiday!? All in all Juan Les Pins was a fab place to go for a few days (couldn't have afforded much more), the location of the hotel was good and just what we wanted. I would recommend anyone stay here as long as you are not looking for luxury. Twoozer / MIDWEST / 12 juin 2008 “Very Friendly Staff” We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff was very nice and accommodating. We loved the decor which is somewhat eclectic and very tastefully done. Walk out the door, turn right and the beach is a one minute walk away. An adjacent parking lot is 3 euros, the street parking is free but fills quickly. As non French speakers, we were made to feel perfectly comfortable to communicate in English, everyone here is so nice!! Wainwright007 / Newcastle / 7 juin 2008 “Trainspotter's Paradise” I'd agree with just about everything the other reviews say - Stefan the owner is a real boon, both he and Nina are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a small and homely place and our small room had a balcony overlooking the busy railway line which was quite noisy particularly as there is a traffic light outside the hotel - those awful scooters revving up as they wait for the green light. We paid 10 Euro per breakfast and they were more than adequate unless you're a full English fry-up addict!
For some reason guests are denied access to the pleasant lounge and garden during the day - they are locked until 6pm. And a word of warning - the beach restaurants are expensive.
As you reach the seafront from the hotel and turn left along the promenade the first pizzeria you come to on your left - I think it's Les San Marco - is to be avoided at all costs. The service was very poor and the waitress extremely offensive towards us. We paid for the wine we had and left, refusing to pay for the incomplete meal they had half-served us.
Take the boat to Ile St Marguerite for some peace and quiet, walks in the forest and views of the coastline. It's a good idea to carry a picnic although there are two restaurants and a snack shack or two with exceedingly chilled beer!
The public beach towards Golfe Juan is quieter and the Petit Train to Antibes is a fun ride - Antibes, the old town, is pleasant to walk around: there are even some English pubs to avoid. Prices in Antibes are less than Juan and the restaurants are more "French" than seaside as they are in Juan.
Overall, we had a great four days feeling pleased with our choice of hotel.
Rae08 / London / 17 avr. 2008 “Would go back” Stayed here for a work conference in Cannes. Great location - 2 mins to beach. Rooms comfortable with free wi-fi and owners very friendly and helpful. Also near bus route to Cannes and Antibes (can walk to Antibes in about 20 minutes) if you want to explore the area. Would definitely go back and stay here again. So lovely to stay somewhere a little different - eclectic decor. Grafite / trento / 2 avr.
Proprietari sempre disponibili e amichevoli, pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza.
rice89 / Hampshire, England / 8 nov. 2007 “Amazing Find” Slightly dotty but a real find, the sea is two minutes away, the owner speaks perfect english, he is also extremely useful for recommending restaurants for all budgets. The decor is not to everybody's taste but we adored it, it was all done by Nina, the owner's wife - very stylish. Excellent breakfast. The perfect place for a short stay in this lovely part of the Cote d'Azur (Juan les Pins) and excellent value for money. andyman64 / Yorkshire, England / 27 juil. 2007 “Your search is over” After spending hours working through all the reviews we decided to 'take a chance' and we are so glad we did. Stayed here for 3 nights 18-21 July 2007. Its a small homely hotel very close to the beach, parking is a nightmare and the room was small, shower room also tiny...but it gets a five star because the location is superb and the authentic and charming decor was uplifting. The owner is a real charmer and could not have done more to make our stay a delight. If a sea view is critical then 3rd floor is a must, but as the area is fantastic then seeing the sea from the window rather than walking 50 m seems a little of a waste. I would (and will) return and it was a superb experience, but please contact the hotel direct as it will save a lot. Delightful visit all in all. Brutus78 / Midwest / 11 avr. 2007 “Nice, small hotel; helpful proprietor” My family stayed at the Villa Nina for three nights and had a very positive experience. The rooms are not large but were clean and functional. The breakfast area/lounge is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Stephan, the proprietor, was delightful and made us feel very welcome. He was very helpful with his knowledge of local dining, sightseeing, etc. and also speaks excellent English. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a small hotel with a very friendly and accomodating owner/proprietor.
